Hello, Modesto Christian Families,
I feel so privileged to be the new Executive Director of Modesto Christian School. Since 1962, MC has been impacting students for Christ (including my own daughter) and it is both an honor and a great responsibility to continue the legacy of MC’s founding pastor, the Reverend Roy Blakeley. The fact that I knew him makes this new role even more special to me.
Rev. Blakeley signed my ordination papers back when I was a pastor at Calvary Temple (now called The House). After serving there as a minister for 8 years, I went into Christian education and taught at Calvary Temple Christian School and Big Valley Christian School, eventually becoming the principal of Big Valley Christian High School. I then moved into public education and became the principal of Beyer High School for over 13 years. I also served as an adjunct professor at Modesto Junior College. I hold a teaching credential, an administrative services credential, a B.A. in English Composition, and a Master’s in Composition and Rhetoric.
In my spare time, I enjoy riding my Harley trike with my wife of 36 years, Tamara Jaco Park. Together we have two daughters, Markie and Kady, and four grandchildren. Two cats round out our family since they think they are related!
My relationship with the Lord, the ministry opportunities in which He has allowed me to serve Him, and my family are the greatest privileges of my life. And now, I have the opportunity to work at Modesto Christian School, serving the students, staff, and families in this ministry. I thank God for the privilege, and I am excited to be jumping in with both feet!

Hello, and welcome to Modesto Christian School!
My name is Vicki Ollson, and I am the K-6th Principal at MC, where we celebrate hands-on, meaningful learning experiences and truly feel like family. My own family’s experience is why I believe in what we do here at MC.
My husband and I knew we wanted our children to have a strong academic foundation, as well as learn more about the Bible and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. For these reasons, we chose Modesto Christian. Both of our boys attended MC from Kindergarten-Grade 12 and graduated being fully prepared for college and fully prepared to defend their faith. For this, we are eternally grateful.
I became a teacher at MC the same year our boys started school. I had been at home being a mom during their younger years, and prior to that, I had taught in public schools in Modesto, then Germany, and finally in beautiful San Diego. After teaching at MC for several years, I became the elementary principal.
Now I have been in education for 40 years and hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Child Development, a valid California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential for Kindergarten-8th Grade, a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Administration Credential from the Association of Christian Schools International.

Dear Modesto Christian Families,
It is with deep gratitude and great excitement that I introduce myself as the new Middle School/High School Principal. As an alumnus of the Class of 2011, returning to serve this incredible community is a full-circle moment—one that I do not take lightly.
My journey since graduating from MC has been one of growth, service, and deepening faith. After high school, I proudly served in the United States Navy, which shaped my discipline and leadership. Following my service, I worked as a paraeducator in the Oakdale Joint Unified School District and as a substitute teacher. For the past five years, I have had the joy of coaching basketball—an experience that has reminded me how powerful mentorship and encouragement can be in a young person’s life. I recently earned my Master of Arts in Education with a focus on higher education administration from National University, equipping me to help students not only grow academically but also prepare for their future with purpose.
Beyond the credentials and experience, this role is deeply personal. I met my wife here at MC, and together we now have four amazing children—Madisyn (10), Anthony (8), Maliah (7), and Ayden (5). As a father, I understand firsthand the hopes and dreams parents have for their children, and as someone whose faith truly took root here, I’m passionate about creating the same life-changing experience for our students. Modesto Christian helped shape my walk with Christ, and I want each student to grow in their faith just as I did—while also thriving academically and being prepared to impact the world for Jesus.
To all the families, I want you to know that I am here to serve, to lead with integrity, and to partner with you in building up the next generation of Christian leaders. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to make this upcoming school year a powerful and transformative one.
