Job Description:
The EDC Aide provides care and supervision for students during after-school hours (K-8th) and school lunch hours (K-6th). In addition, all EDC Aides need to comply with school policies, procedures, and programs. The ideal candidate will embrace the mission and values of Modesto Christian School. EDC Aides typically work shifts ranging between 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Required to apply:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prefer at least 3 units of childhood education or at least 3 years of experience working with school-age children
- Hold or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Be an active member or participant of a local church
- Previous food service experience is helpful, but not required

Job Description:
Modesto Christian School seeks qualified applicants to substitute teach in grades K-12. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively to students. Candidates should have a love for children and classroom teaching, be well organized, highly motivated, and willing to take guidance from veteran co-workers. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Education and Work Related Experience
B.A. or B.S. and teaching credential preferred.
