Job Description:

Oversee children in Extended Day Care for Modesto Christian School. Hours are from 2:45 pm-6 pm on Monday-Thursday, and 12 pm-6 pm on Friday. The ideal candidate will embrace the mission of Modesto Christian School and our Statement of Faith.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prefer at least 3 units of childhood education or at least 3 years

of experience working with school age children

• Hold current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Be an active member or participant of a local church
• Previous food service experience is helpful, but not required

Modesto Christian School seeks qualified applicants to substitute teach in grades K-12. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively to students. Candidates should have a love for children and classroom teaching, be well organized, highly motivated, and willing to take guidance from veteran co-workers. Responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Education and Work Related Experience

B.A. or B.S. and teaching credential preferred.
